How to Build and Have a Godly Marriage By Dr. Terry L. Croomer Pastor

Ephesians 5:21-33 “Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word. That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that is should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and…

WHAT TO DO NOW THAT I HAVE FAILED By Dr. Terry Croomer, Pastor
The goal of every Christian parent in life should not to be to rear a "good kid" or have students who are excelling academically, are great athletes, and so forth. The goal is to equip our children, these young saints "for the work of the ministry" (Ephesians 4:12, Mark 10:45). Our goal as Christian parents is to train them to stay on the road of usefulness to God, Proverbs 22:6. If, in the end, they are unusable to Christ, they are not handling life spiritually and wisely, both they and we have failed.

Proverbs 15:31
"The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise.

Proverbs 15:32
He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding

Proverbs 15:33
"The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom; and before honor is humility."

Proverbs 16:5
"Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord: though hand join in…

The Most Important Key In Rearing Children to Live For the Lord  Dealing With Anger Part Three By Dr. Terry L. Coomer Pastor
I want to take the opportunity to review a few points from the last article. Last time, we talked about how you lose the heart of a child. The most important key in child rearing is to get and keep the heart of the child. Pray for and ask God to give you your child’s heart. The heart can be lost, the heart can be hardened, and the heart can be stolen. The rebellion in a child happens in that order. The biggest thing that causes the parent to lose the heart of their child is ungodly sinful anger on the part of one or both of the parents.
I recently heard a story where a kindergarten teacher was helping a student with his boots. The child was struggling to get the boots on, so the teacher came over to help. After they finally got the boots on, the child said, Teacher, they are on the wrong feet. Sure enough, the teacher looked down and the boots were on the wrong feet. So…

1 Corinthians 2:11
"Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices."

Q. How does Satan get an advantage of us?
A. We are ignorant of his devices.

Beloved of Christ, we cannot afford to be ignorant on any point. I can tell you from personal experience that ignorance will cost you in no small way. The devil is playing for KEEPS and he has many tried and true tricks in his arsenal. Our ONLY weapon is the word of God, RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH, UNDERSTANDING WHAT THE WILL OF THE LORD IS and LEARNING TO LIVE IT EACH MOMENT OF THE DAY. We need the full armour of God to win this battle. That means putting on the Lord Jesus Christ. Nothing less will do.

One of the most successful schemes that the devil has devised in order to destroy the testimony of Christ in the earth is by intermarrying believers with unbelievers. Time after time in the Old Testament we see the children of Israel intermarrying with the heathen against Gods will, just as we se…
