Let's face it. "No" is not something we like to hear. We want what we want and we want it NOW. But since we are children of the Most High God and NOT God we are not Omniscient. We cannot see what the Lord sees. We do not know all of the facts surrounding His "no".

How then, are we to react properly when God says "no"?

Think, if you will for a moment about your own children if you have them or about your earthly parents if you don't.

When my daughter was younger she always wanted to visit her friends homes. But these were school friends, not people I knew personally. I didn't know what kind of dynamic was going on in their homes. I didn't know who lived there, who visited there and what they were like. I knew nothing at all and since I didn't, I did not allow my daughter to visit their homes, much less spend the night. My daughter could not understand this and thought I was PREVENTING her from having the fun she wanted to have. But she was…

For the past three years I have been having a rough time.

A really rough time.
Things have been coming from the left and the right. Death of a close friend. Slander, lies, theft, deceit, malice. And all this from so-called "family". Loss of my only child and grandchildren. My home and job. Yes, I have been having a time.
I have not handled it well always. It just galls me because it seems that the wicked do whatever they want and no harm comes to them. They seem to prosper. I understand why they seem to prosper. Those who live their lives according to the course of this world (do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law according to the law of the devil) worship the god of this world and materialism is their reward. They seem not to be troubled as are Gods children. This is the work of make it "seem" as if the wicked are better off". He wants us [Chistians] to become totally embittered against God. He wants us to believe that the grass is greener …

Men and women were not created to be friends outside of the context of marriage.

Ephesians 5:22-33
22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
25 Husbands, love your wives, even asChrist also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing;but that it should be holy and without blemish.
28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
31 For this…
